  • Rebecca: add issues to gist 13.0.0 project and assign to Phil. DONE

• Discussion topics

  • Released 12.1.0 on Feb 28
  • Next gist release will be 13.0.0. To include:
    • New units and magnitudes model
      • GitHub issues have been added and Phil is implementing.
    • New address model (see below)
    • Other major changes in triage (see below) as time permits
    • Target date - end of April
    • Release manager volunteer - Dylan, with Peter and Katie as backup
  • New working group for infrastructure tasks? Volunteers? See project board. Tentative:
    • Colton (lead)
    • Boris?
    • Jamie (provide guidance, may not do any implementation)

• Working group status updates

  • Addresses and Locations (Rebecca, Michael, Dan, Dylan, Peter)
    • Working group has come to consensus on a model.
    • Dan sent out a draft documentation to the working group but so has received no response. Dan will set up a meeting.
    • Rebecca will submit a PR based on Dan's documentation.

  • Infrastructure
    • Submodule to replace contents of tools directory (Boris)
    • Subclass inferencing included in submodule and included in build (Boris)
    • Include check for undefined concepts in build validation (Boris)
  • Implement versioning ontology (Boris)

• Triage issues for 13.0.0

  • 13.0.0 project board. Focus on issues related to the new units and measures model, and major changes currently in triage:
  • Unit and magnitude-related issues:
    • Issue #1065: Expressing broader relationship - relates to aspect hierarchies which are closely tied to the new units and magnitudes model
    • Issue #1066: hasStandardUnit
    • Issue #1067: Reference data for common units
  • Other major changes
    • Issue #1063: Domain and range of gist:allows
    • Issue #963: Remove domain from numericValue
    • Issue #899: Remove domain and range from isGovernedBy
    • Move IoT and sensor-related terms out of gistCore and possibly into new ontology: issues #729 and #462:
    • Issue #944: Axioms on hasFirstMember and OrderedMember
    • Issue #385: Delete gist:Artifact
    • Issue #1026: Rewrite all restrictions based on newly defined best practices. See internal Confluence page. In particular, remove allValuesFrom and exact cardinalities from class equivalences and replace with someValuesFrom. Can also add subclass restrictions with the more precise restrictions.
