• Review action items from previous meeting

  • Deferred Peter to create issue or add to next meeting's discussion points on developing a gist design pattern primer?
  • Boris will send naming spreadsheet to Rebecca. DONE
  • Deferred Dan will schedule a meeting to get Ted Hills involved in Geo discussion, potentially targeting v11.0.0.

• Discussion topics

  • Release 10.0.0 planning, including issue #451: Simplify Magnitude and Unit of Measure. Can we do a 10.0.0 release without it?
    • Could pull units and measures out into a separate module first, then look into the restructuring later.
      • Can we make a clean break?
      • Would allow people to use QUDT with gist core.
      • Is this a major change? Only requires users to make an additional import.
      • Michael: doesn't make sense to do as a preliminary step, since after remodeling we might want to put It back into gist core.
    • Conclusion: go ahead with 10.0.0 as next release. Save units of measure and magnitudes for a subsequent release.
      • Postpone to end of June. Issues other than #188 should be complete by end of May.

  • Phil Blackwood's issue #451: Simplify Magnitude and Unit of Measure. Michael are we ready for this?
  • Issue #463: Add predefined MimeType instances

• Issue #473: Change filenames of gist visualizations in release package. Closed and morphed into a task for broader documentation changes (see New Action Items) for next release.
• Issue #389:# Add annotation properties to indicate intended usage of properties. Duplicated in #472. Will implement for next release.* Issue #463: Add predefined MimeType instances for the most common types. Will implement for next release.

New Action Items

• Boris Pelakh to create new issue for documentation and assign to himself, Peter Winstanley, and Michael Uschold. They will create some combination of Michael's spreadsheets and Peter's Kindle book.
