rotator
This draws a sprite and rotates it using an animation. Useful for creating loading circles.
Sprite will always rotate around the middle point of the object. The sprite offset is ignored. Your is resized in such a manner, that the corners of the sprite never go outside the object. This object can therefore draw square sprites just fine. Round sprites may appear smaller than intended though.
Be careful with this object, it constantly redraws itself to the screen. If there are a lot of objects in front or behind this object, all other objects also have to be redrawn. This can cause your game/UI to slow down.
- count[0]: How far rotated the object should be. (no animation applied) Goes from 0 to 1.
- sprite[spr_uiZ_gear]: which sprite to use.
- img[0]: which sprite image index to use.
- rotationtime[1]: how many seconds a single rotation takes.
- animation[uiz_straight]: What animation to use for the rotation. Use this to add tweening to your rotation.
- rotation: How far in degrees the sprite has rotated. Resets itself after 360 degrees.
-
uiz_rotator_setcount(instanceid,count[0] from 0 to 1):
- instanceid: the instance id of the instance you want to modify
- count[0]: How far rotated the object should be. (before animation applied) Goes from 0 to 1.
