Introduction to the mage and elves level
In the sprint 4, our team put enemy into the game area level 1 and set up this game level. The game area we implemented is the level after the tutorial level, the mage boss and elves live in this level. To pass this level, player need to defeat all enemies, player only can access to next level until there are no enemies in this level.
There are four different types of elves in this area.
The assassin elves is a kind of melee enemy, which means they only can attack player when they are close with players.
The fast arrow shooting elves will shoot fast arrow to player when they attack, the fast arrow has high attack damage. Before the elves shooting fast arrow, there will have an instruction bar to indicate the arrow shooting direction, so player have chance to dodge the fast arrow and make the game more interesting.
The normal arrow shooting elves will shoot arrow to attack the player, the arrow has a fixed flying distance, they disappear until they reach their flying distance. Also there are chance that the normal arrow shooting elves will shoot multiple arrows to the player, the elves will shoot three normal arrows to player in one time. Tracking arrow shooting Elves: The tracking arrow shooting elves will shoot tracking arrow to player when they attack. The tracking arrow will follow player, player need to dodge the arrow.
After player defeat elves enemies in this level, they will fight with the boss of this level which is mage boss. The mage boss will shoot fireball to player, the fireball will track the player, player need to dodge the fire ball. When they mage boss have a low health, the mage will teleport around in the boss area, after the mage boss teleporting, he will call elves to help him, player cannot cause damage to the mage boss until defeat all elves. Also, the mage boss has chance to generate a explosion after he teleporting, player need to dodge the explosion because it can cause large amount of damage to the player.
