OS X protection to be expected to be finished by end of 2021.
Does Spawn distributable need Python 3.6 or 3.9? Kyle does not rely on either. Michael to tell when 3.6 is no longer needed, in the meantime, Modelon to provide 3.6 and 3.9 builts.
New dependency information allows for change in decoupling if when-block is between dependency.
Buildings 9 release target for January or February, with EnergyPlus 9.6 and Spawn 0.3.x on Ubuntu 18.04.
Search for spawn executable on SPAWNPATH and PATH (https://github.com/lbl-srg/modelica-buildings/pull/2765) is on master, but not on maint_8.0.x. Correct? (This would require some changes for 8.0.x C code to keep API backward compatible.) -- Yes, correct.
Kyle to add a flag to spawn to emit EnergyPlus version.
