LBL AOP 6/30 (go/no-go): Posted beta version of Spawn (jointly with NREL, Objexx and Modelon)

LBL AOP 9/30: Modelica Buildings Library release

NREL AOP 9/30: Software release including doc that defines how to conduct a Spawn simulation

Modelon

Optimica license protection.

Started separate discussion for how to give developers access to Buildings library.

Compiler integration

NREL milestone to show that OCT can work within Spawn.

Uses grail to compile Java to machine code.

Design how to parse options, how to distribute (should binary call be used to create FMU?).

• [For FY21, Q2] Kyle to look into numerical instability (walls may be initialized to wrong temperature). See for example Experimental/EnergyPlus/Examples/VAVReheatRefBldgSmallOffice/FloorOpenLoop. The temperature in the attic should not raise in the first hour. (Pending since Nov. 2019)
