We need to create a research plan to understand HackforLA volunteer who has either received or did not received recommendation letter on LinkedIn. List of prospective participants for interviews has been created, along with an interview question guide. However, timeline for recruiting participants, administering interviews, and synthesizing data has not yet begun. A timeline needs to be established and then recruitment of participants should be the next steps.
What are the ways participants (volunteers) were able to receive a recommendation letter?

- Learning different strategies that volunteer took to receive the recommendation letter
- Understand how these volunteers were able to strengthen their communication and relationship with recommenders
- Collect volunteer’s thoughts and feelings about recommendation feature on Linkedin
- Understand the pain points for those who did and did not receive a recommendation

Participant recruitment, interviewing, synthesis of interview data, report - We might end up categorizing the LinkedIn profiles with information about the type of person giving the review, but we have not yet established that it will be necessary at this point. (see spreadsheet for example)
