Participants (alphabetical): Conor, Emmanuel, Erik, Jen, Kevin, Kushal (async), Mike, Mickael, Nina

Conor

Yesterday: (Friday) Almost finalized Weblate migration; we're not cutting over for the release but will do shortly after the release. Submitted PR that should finally resolve Debian template transition.

Today: Follow up on template PR -- checkboxes that we could resolve with Mickael's packaging work. Mickael, while you are reviewing, I'll poke at that. More weblate work.

Blockers: None, but see ^^ re: review

Emmanuel

Yesterday: Support, hw research, gathered survey responses and bumped to gather more responses, follow up with a client re kernel

Today: #3846 and support

Blockers: None

Escalations: None

Erik

Yesterday: (Friday) Hiring, research prep, #learning about staging/virtualized tails

Today: Research session, hiring (SD Eng); pre-release announcement for 0.10.0

Blockers: Ideally, would like changelog for 0.10.0 (can work of milestone/commit history for now)

Heartsucker

Have a few PRs open, e.g., https://github.com/freedomofpress/securedrop/pull/3863 . Assignment feature - would like to get that moving along if possible. A lot of things pending/waiting for next steps.

Jen

Yesterday: (Friday) Reproduced bug that Kushal found in securedrop-proxy, added regression test and merged in K's fix. then started DRYing up the SDK Qubes proxy functionality

Today: Test SDK functionality in Qubes, merge in the morning; if time permits, pull client ticket off the pile

Blockers: None

Kevin

Yesterday: (Friday) Spent time getting functional, page layout tests passing in branch

Today: Will be spending the rest of the day doing 0.10.0 QA

Blockers: None

Kushal

Yesterday: Most of my day went to update/fix securedrop-sdk as required for https://github.com/freedomofpress/securedrop-sdk/pull/21#issuecomment-429832366

Today: Holiday

Blockers:

Mike

Yesterday: Lots of unrelated infrastructure work

Today: Nested virtualization work on Google -- Erik/Conor/Mike to scope

Blockers: None

Mickael

Yesterday: Looked a bit more at securedrop-security #5. Also did unrelated infra work.

Today: Testing Conor's PR

Blockers: None

Nicholas

Yesterday: (Monday) Lots of work and progress on the conversation "view" in the UI (see screenie from earlier in Slack). This was painful due to Qt's interesting CSS characteristics, however, progress was made..!

Today: (Tuesday - working in London) Continue with conversation view with a view to having a reviewable PR done by the end of the day. Checklist: re-write CSS handling code to properly handle custom widgets (a major pain point), attachment icons in the speech bubbles, scrolling properly, update conversation works cleanly, 100% unit test coverage.

Blockers: None (although a slow burning frustration with Qt's CSS documentation, or lack thereof) :-D

Nina

Yesterday:

Today: Had really informative research session, was not able to share the most feature-packed prototype yet -- will be working more on that today, to get in more of the messaging we want to get in front of users. Getting research results up on the wiki. Could take away from testing to work with heartsucker if needed.

Blockers: Need more research participant
