Combat Modifiers

In FS3 combat, GMs can set modifiers to spell, attack, and defense.

Spells and Magic items can set modifiers to spell, attack, defense, and initiative.

These are all tracked separately, which means that GM-set mods, spell-set mods, and item-set mods all stack.

Spell-set modifiers last a set number of rounds, while GM-set modifiers last until they are removed. Item-set mods expire when the item is unequipped.

You can see all mods active on a character in combat with combat/seemods <name>

  • Attack: Adds or removes dice to attack rolls, including spells which attack or stun.
  • Defense: Adds or removes dice to defense rolls.
  • Initiative: Adds or removes dice to initiative rolls.
  • Spell: Adds or removes dice to spell-casting rolls.
