PDF Export
Due to the lack of real support for multi-page documents in Inkscape the sheets generated by the countersheetslayout are created as layers instead. Each layer contains a front or back of a countersheet. This makes printing the generated images a bit awkward. Luckily the extension has built-in support for exporting PDFs. One PDF will be generated for each sheet. In the dialog when running the extension fill in a valid path for the PDF Output Directory.
There are external applications that are able to take the one-page PDFs and merge them to one larger document (unfortunately there is no good way to do so from within Inkscape). On a Mac it can even be done with the Preview application that comes with OSX by opening all the files and then drag them to organize them into one large file.
There are also command-line tools like pdfjoin that might be a better option when doing this often or from a build system.
