IHM Meeting Summary Jun 14, 2018

Attended by Ben Webb and Brinda Vallat

  1. Nup82 and Complement IMP structures from BW are complete and will be deposited in PDB-Dev by BV.

  2. BW will immediately update the existing NPC structures to validate against the current dictionary (with updated definitions for distance restraints) and work on adding the full set of distance restraints from the NPC publication.

  3. A complete Rosetta model is now in the deposition pipeline.

  4. Updated verbiage on the PDB-Dev website to explain how to visualize mmCIF models in ChimeraX. Proposal to modify legacy Chimera so that if it's asked to load an IHM mmCIF model (often the default file association for .cif files) display a dialog box pointing out that it can only show atomic detail, and point the user to use ChimeraX instead.

  5. No meeting next week as BV will be traveling. Next meeting Jun 28.
