componentWillReceiveProps is getting called on Poped screen on state update. #1239

Version

Tell us which versions you are using:

  • react-native-router-flux v3.35.0
  • react-native v0.33.0

Expected behaviour

  1. Two components share same state.
  2. Scene 1 loads a Scene 2.
  3. Scene 2 updates state of the component.
  4. Scene 2 componentWillReceiveProps gets called with new props
  5. Scene 2 conditionally pops the current Scene in componentWillReceiveProps .
  6. Flow comes back to previous scene 1.
  7. Scene 1 componentWillReceiveProps get called with props.
  8. Scene 1 updates the common state in componentWillReceiveProps.
  9. Scene 2 throws error "You are already in the root scene.

The code at step 5 is getting executed again.

Actual behaviour

The code at stop 5 should not be getting executed as the Scene has been popped.

Steps to reproduce

Set up code as follows:

  1. Two Scenes with shared state.
  2. Move to Scene 2
  3. Call Scene2.pop() in componentWillReceiveProps.
  4. Update the common state again in componentWillReceiveProps of Scene1
