When switching sites, the detail view controller switches to the Stats view by default. However, the incorrect menu item is highlighted.

Site A, Comments menu item is selected / highlighted Switched to Site B, showing Stats in the detail view as expected but Posts menu item is highlighted
IMG_0020 IMG_0021

Expected behavior

When switching sites

  • The stats screen is shown in the detail view controller on the right hand side
  • The stats menu item is highlighted in the sidebar nav

Actual behavior

When switching sites

  • The stats screen is shown in the detail view controller on the right hand side
  • The wrong menu item(*) is highlighted in the sidebar nav

(*) Not sure if there's a pattern -- perhaps the first item in the section of the previously selected item

Steps to reproduce the behavior

  1. Select a menu item (something in the Publish, Personalize, or Configure section)
  2. Switch your site by tapping on the 🔽 button
  3. 👀 Notice that the while the Stats view is being displayed in the detail view, the wrong menu item is highlighted
Tested on iPad, iOS 15.3.1, WPiOS 19.0, 19.1
