The Civic Opportunity Project seeks to create a curated journey process of professional development for non-traditional and underrepresented civic tech volunteers.
Our goal is to equip participants with the resources, exposure and toolsets to excel in a competitive workforce.
- Creating a framework of opportunity, knowledge and guidance for otherwise excluded groups of individuals.
- Bringing diversity of representation and perspective to the technology sector.
- Documenting the experience process and ultimately providing an industry-wide software that can be streamlined, scaled and replicated.
