NOTE: This is a work-in-progress.
The following table is a list of known feature gaps in the current version of the US Forms System, and is subject to change as we continue to build out the system and learn more about the electronic forms needs across constituents (some items may never become features).
Feature | Description | Notes |
---|---|---|
Tables or Columns within form | Currently no support for table components within the form | This may be addressed subsequent to the US Web Design System 2.0 release. |
Custom CSS | US Forms System leverages US Web Design Standards. Any custom styling (colors, text styles, alerts, etc) requires manual override of the current styles | This may be addressed subsequent to the US Web Design System 2.0 release. |
Identity Management and Authentication | Currently no support for managing identity (login models, etc) | Back-end integration of IAM is outside the scope of this library, but we may include some standard UI elements for login/forgotten password/change password, etc. |
Save-in-progress | Currently no support for saving form information | This functionality is implemented in a custom way at the VA, and may find its way back into the library. |
Interactive Navigation Bar | Currently no support for interactive navigation progress bar. The progress bar currently included is non-interactive. | This may be revisted after refactoring of the current library. |
