To translate a page:

1. Check that no one else has claimed your page in the checklist and comments below.
2. Comment below with the name of the page you would like to translate. Please take only one page at a time.
3. Clone this repo, translate your page, and submit a pull request!

Before contributing, read the glossary and style guide (once they exist) to understand how to translate various technical and React-specific terms.

Please be prompt with your translations! If you find find that you can't commit any more, let the maintainers know so they can assign the page to someone else.

Hello @tesseralis, we have organized some tasks on trello and actually we have started with the translation process. For now we don't have any question, thank you!

@pavkout gotcha. The only thing I ask is that you keep this progress bar up to date as well -- it helps us keep track of how well the translation is going, and it allows new volunteers to get an accurate sense of what they should do next, since they don't have access to the trello.

We have created a document TRANSLATION.md in which we will keep the rules we use to translate the website and also a Glossary of terms - suggestions. (Help/Improvements needed)
I have created a PR for the Homepage which needs review and @pavkout is finishing up the translations for the Tutorial page.
If you would like to translate a page let me know and I will mark that page with your name in this issue!

Sorry for the late response 😅
You can find our guidelines/rules here
Basically we went with not translating terms like 'component', 'render' etc.
This was based on the assumption that it will make it harder to understand the terms and create more confusion - especially if the translation wasn't exactly right -.
That said nothing is set in stone and if you have any additions/recommendations feel free to create a PR!
If you would like to contribute by translating a specific page let me know so I can assign you to it!
