can you configure your dbus daemon to listen on regular unix socket (not abstract socket)? If not, there should be some way to connect to abstract socket ( see here - http://stackoverflow.com/questions/11640826/can-not-connect-to-linux-abstract-unix-socket ) and I'm not aware about proper existing modules
