linux/ppc64le builds were added in open-telemetry/opentelemetry-collector-releases/pull/173, but we don't have an explicit owner for this platform.

@adilhusain-s as the person who introduced the linux/ppc64le build, would you be interested in becoming an owner for the linux/arm platform? You will be pinged on issues specific to linux/ppc64le (none so far AFAIK) and asked for help by maintainers if something specific to this platform is needed.

Since we are a small team of about 10-15 people doing porting and maintenance, would you be opposed to us registering a form of group ID as the maintainer which would go to our team of porting and maintenance engineers? I would agree that the work would be small, but we would like to help keep it current.

@gerrith3 Having a Github team handle would be totally fine :) Adding several names that we can ping would also be okay; it's not strictly required that the person pinged is the one that actually helps with the issue, just that we can contact someone who knows about PowerPC and/or has easy access to PowerPC hardware.

Well, let's plan to do that. I'll say that you can always ping me directly on an issue, but I'm going to set it up so that my team can also be pulled in. But we can definitely do testing and I believe @adilhusain-s from my team did a lot of the initial work. That may move as he's working on other interesting projects at the moment (like GitHub Actions for Power ;-) ) but we can definitely help keep this built and tested. We have a large interest in a growing number of CNCF projects as well where this is just one of those.

Alright! There is no rush, but if you expect this to take significant time, I can add your names temporarily until you have this team.

I would also encourage you both to apply for OpenTelemetry Github membership (you can do this by filing the "Organization Membership Request" template here). You will need two sponsors, I am happy to be one of them and you can choose someone else that e.g. reviewed one of your PRs.

@gerrith3 do you have any updates on this? Would you be okay with me adding your Github handle for now and figuring out the team handle later?

@mx-psi apologies for the delay, could you please add @IBM-Currency-Helper (this is a group ID) as the primary handle and @adilhusain-s and @seth-priya just for backup? Thanks
