6. Making a DAQ cable

Strip the wires.
Cut the core to make it shorter then the shield.
Put a heat-shrink on the core wire (1.5/0.75 and 1.0/0.5) and solder them together.
Strip a standard multi-core wire ~7 cm and solder it nearby the insulation of the SMA patch cable.
Tie the rest of the wire around the shield.
Solder them together at some points. Put ~5 cm (1.0/0.5) of heat-shrink on to the cable.
And another ~2 cm of (1.5/0.75) heat-shrink. And ~ 3 cm of (3.2/1.6)/
Put some extra heat-shrink on to the cable (1.5/0.75 and 1.0/0.5). Solder the male part of the Mill-max connector to the other end of the cable.
Glue it with a bit of epoxy and shrink the heat-shrink.
