Is there a license to this code? #1
Comments
Hey Nico.
Yes I published it ages ago with the intention for it to be open source.
Honestly I haven't added any specific license to it because I didn't know
much about that legal part and which one to use. Then I just forgot
about it. I'm currently trying to sort out some other libraries I want to
publish and was thinking about that just a few days ago. I hope I'll have
the time for it soon.
Meanwhile, feel free to use it. :)
Btw, what is your project about?

Thanks for this nice project! It looks exactly like what I was looking
for, and I hope that I can re-use it in an Open Source project. To do so, I
will need to know how this code is licensed. Since you make it public, I
assume that the intent is for it to be re-used. It would be great if you
could add a BSD or MIT or similar license to the code. Thanks!

Thanks Tarquinio! This would be for code running a analog/digital out device used to help operate microscopes. Code is here: https://github.com/micro-manager/TriggerScopeMM/blob/master/README.md (licensed as BSD-clause 3). I could add your code to facilitate strobing and delays between input trigger and start of output pulse. User can add a large combination of possibilities that need to be ordered for the "real-time" part to run fast and correct. As long as you will add a non-viral (i.e. non GPL) license, I could use it. |
