Please add WIN+CTRL+SHIFT+B (Restart video driver) to the guide. (If you want me to create a separate issue for this, just let me know. I can't tell if you want them all in this issue or in separate ones referenced by this issue.) |
Hi @skst |
Win+T: #543 |
Win + B, similar to Win + T but a bit faster to access notification area. |
Shift + arrows to move between screens: #552 |
After looking at this issue and a bunch of the others, feels like the shortcut guide needs maybe a settings page where add these in as options that can be displayed but we just don't have room to include everything. I think we have a common scenario and then have it be changeable IMO. #235 will be the tracking item for that. |
Win + Shift + Ctrl + Alt which emulates the Office key that is a new hardware-based key on new Microsoft keyboards. |
Is Win + T even a functional shortcut anymore? On Windows 10 it seems to be broken, or at least it doesn't perform as old accounts of the shortcut describe. Not a big deal as it appears to not even be in the current version of the Shortcut Guide, but just curious nonetheless. |
@yllekz yup, still a thing |
Win+Alt+B - toggle HDR (requires Game Bar enabled). https://www.reddit.com/r/pcgaming/comments/sbl9da/fyi_you_can_press_win_alt_b_to_enabledisable_hdr |
Can confirm this shortcut doesn't work on Windows 10 21H2. |
It's Windows 11 since Quick Settings took Win+A. |

Shortcuts sort of misclassified in the table:
Also mentionable, Win+./; is emoji/symbol keyboard, which gives a little more context than just labeling it emoji keyboard, although Microsoft does call it the emoji panel. Panel may be a better word than keyboard at least. |
WIN + Ctrl + L as the shortcut for Originally posted by @aaronliu0130 in #16802 |
Hmm, I'm pretty sure that's the wrong name there... There's an extra b! |
|
This is specific to your keyboard/laptop model and doesn't apply for all Windows PCs. Windows doesn't recognise Fn as a key. |
@sepsol Doesn't work for me, and some computers don't even have an FN key. Maybe specific to your manufacturer? Edit: Jinx! |
@aaronliu0130 It might be that as @Susko3 pointed out, this shortcut is specific to my keyboard. I'm using Logitech MX Keys and there this shortcut triggers the I've also found that if my terminal gets stuck for no reason and the |
