Climate Groups
This feature automatically creates climate groups for an area with all the cover
entities for that area.
This feature will not create a group if there are no climate
entities in the area.
unit_of_measurement
of the created climate groups will be pulled from your Home Assistant configuration for temperature units
Climate groups will automatically turn on when area enters the configured state (default: extended
) and turn off when the area is clear.
You can control non-smart fans by using a smart switch for fans (like the Lutron Caseta Smart Fan Speed Control Switch), a regular smart switch (for ceiling fans) or using a smart outlet (for all other plug-in fans).
You will also need a temperature sensor in that area and tie all together with the Generic Thermostat integration.
