Feature Request: Localization for trending

In Newpipe you can select a country and can get trending videos from just that country, i would love to see this on invidio.us as well. I hope it could automatically show localized trending videos based on your IP, just like the youtube website.

This has actually already been added, just hasn't been added to the UI yet. For example, you can add region=JP to the trending URL, like this.

Expect this to be added to the UI fairly soon.

I would also like to see an admin option (in config.yaml) to set the default region for an instance.

It would be great indeed to be able to have a button in the UI to select a country for trending videos. FreeTube does that, you can choose the country you want to see the trending videos from and it's pretty practical.
