This is the second part of ionide/FsAutoComplete#912, which uses the Ionide workspace storage folder as the workspace state storage location for FSAC. The storage locations look like
c:\\Users\\chusk\\AppData\\Roaming\\Code\\User\\workspaceStorage\\f8767133284cb766b920d8c882ad803c\\Ionide.Ionide-fsharp, which is perfect for our use cases.
