Controlling the World and Camera
This page will cover the two features on the Home tab, World and Camera.
In the World Section you will find controls for manipulation of Time and Weather.
The Lock
icon (🔒) locks and unlocks the time of day and day of the month. In order to use the sliders, it must be unlocked, and if you want to freeze it you can unlock it.
The Time
slider manipulates the time of day and the position of the sun and moon, while the Day slider manipulates the day of the month and the phase of the moon.
Both the time of day and the day of the month can be set in and out of GPose, but if setting them within GPose, make sure you’ve unfrozen the weather and time of day in the GPose settings.
The Weather
drop down menu allows you to pick the displayed weather effect. You can also manually type in the number of the weather you want.
❗️ Note: You can only select weather that is valid for the area you are in!
In the Camera Section you will find controls for the manipulation of the in-game camera. Camera controls are only available while you are in GPose, in order to not facilitate unfair game advantages.
This checkbox allows you to use the Anamnesis camera controls to move the camera beyond the game’s limitations, allowing you to move the camera, as well as zoom in and out beyond the game’s limits.
Tggles control of the camera between FFXIV and Anamnesis. The controls are mutually exclusive, IE, you cannot control the camera with both the game and Anamnesis. If it is unlocked, FFXIV has control of the game camera, and if it is locked, Anamnesis has control of the game camera.
