People interested in Outreachy projects should read this page describing HOT's Outreachy Internship Program.

If you have any questions, please post them on the project's issue here in this GitHub repository. You can try asking on our IRC channel, but be patient there, sometimes someone is available to answer Outreachy questions and sometimes not. You should for sure put your questions on the project issue as well.

People considering being mentors should read the Information for Mentors section of the Outreachy Program website. While it is written for Outreachy program mentors, the most of the information is of value for people considering mentoring Google Summer of Code projects as well. Two good mentoring resources linked from that page are: Federico Mena-Quintero's Mentoring HOWTO and Advice for Google Summer of Code mentors

Both of which are also excellent sources of advice.
