  • My browser: Firefox 80 on Windows 10
  • My RES version: v5.20.4
  • Am I in reddit beta (yes/no): No

L+C and L=C opens tabs immediately next to selected in Firefox even with the insertRelatedAfterCurrent setting marked as "False" in about:config. The expected results (and what occurred in versions prior to 5.6.0) is that when you click the L+C it opens the two links at the end of the URL bar similar to what would happen if you middle mouse clicked on both the link and comments individually. For the last 3 years I had been using 5.4.3 to keep this opening behavior but the reddit image album feature doesn't work properly in that version so I would like to update.

This is the same issue that I had in 2017 (Issue 4230) and was discussed later that year in commit 4518.
