Tested latest TYPO3 9.5.14 (which includes the above linked patch) but the issue persists.

Update: seems its now only wrong when on the default list page or page 1 but works when on a later page (2,3,4...)

Still an issue in TYPO3 11.5.8.

This worked in TYPO3 10 as expected.
