M100 Assembly
This page describes how to assemble the DJI M100 drone. To complete this section, you need:
- DJI M100 (Parts List, ID 1)
- GPS supporting rod (Parts List, ID 16)
- Unbox the DJI M100. 😃
- Follow the DJI M100 assembly tutorial. The final assembled drone should look like this:
Note that we modified the location of the battery bay (default is the bottom of drone) and extended the GPS supporting rod (Parts List, ID 14) in order to avoid possible interference between our onboard computer and GPS reception. We recommend a separation of 25-30cm.
After the assembly, it is recommended to do a manual flight test. If you observe a rapidly-flashing yellow LED on your drone (RC link not established, remote controller signal loss), please follow the steps outlined here (page 39, Linking the remote controller section).
