Turns out that es-master checks for "production readiness" if you set the
network.host
configuration value. unsetting it has no impact on our tests (because the default is localhost) but prevents checks for file_descriptors and min_master_nodes settings.Trying to fix the build, which is broken because elasticsearch is logging a stack trace
