Release Scope

This is a minor release to upgrade Smuggler's tech stack as well as the build system. Existing functionality stays exactly as is.

Main Tasks

Documentation

  • regenerate and publish javadoc.
  • ditto for docs site.

Release Management

  • create topic branch from master and do all the work in there.
  • change version numbers to v1.1.0-beta in Gradle build files.
  • merge topic branch into master and tag v1.1.0-beta.
  • delete topic branch.
  • make a new GitHub release, uploading v1.1.0-beta release bundles.
  • release v1.1.0-beta of NixOS Smuggler package.
