Is there a way now to change it to a number-only variable?

In my example, I would like to omit the "open" part because the badge title is localized.

Hmm, I see. That's a use-case I haven't seen before. I need to assume that current users wish to keep the output they see, so https://img.shields.io/github/issues/badges/shields.svg needs to stay the same. Would https://img.shields.io/github/issues-raw/badges/shields.svg be ok?

Didn't mean to rush you, just wanted a heads up. As you might have witnessed by my spamming of shields across all the projects I contribute to, your work is already greatly appreciated, so any extras that you do add is simply an icing on the cake for me.

Never mind that joke in poor taste, was just poking fun at the current world affairs — you being French (assuming) and me asking for a feature in relation to a Russian-speaking community. :smile:

I'll try speaking to the chief of the french armies for that Mistral business. I'm sure we can come to a compromise, like sending only the upper half of the ship.
