@lhotari @dragosvictor In order to enjoy the new memory mode I've added in OpenTelemetry Java SDK,otel.java.experimental.exporter.memory_mode attribute needs to be set to reusable_data. See https://github.com/open-telemetry/opentelemetry-java/blob/main/sdk-extensions/autoconfigure/README.md

Otherwise anybody opting in to OTel will experience some severe GC.

The beauty in this release is that they've added support to OTLP exporters, which means Pulsar should clearly recommend users to use the OTLP exporters and avoid Prometheus exporter.
