I've tested this locally, including testing starting filling out a form with the old version of redis-session-store, then restarting the server with the new version and checking that my previous answers were still there.
Looking in the Redis cache with redis-cli it looked like the session was automatically migrated to the new key format as well.
I don't fully understand the changes in this release, but it appears to be related to a possible timing attack described in GHSA-hrqr-hxpp-chr3 (see roidrage/redis-session-store#146).
