Disqus Comments Module

The Disqus Comments module is a DNN-based integration with the popular Disqus comments/forums engine.

Why Use This Module?

This module will be useful if you're planning to allow comments to be submitted by visitors on your site. Disqus is by far one of the most feature-complete comment engines available, which makes this module an important part of any social-friendly website.

Available Features

The following features are currently available for you to enjoy. They are listed in a typical order that you might want to follow when organizing any conference.

  • Associate the module with your Disqus account
  • Attach the comments module to another module on the same page
  • Use single sign-on (SSO) between Disqus and DNN
  • Choose from any of the built-in Disqus views: Comments, Combination, Recent Comments, Popular Thread, and Top Commenters
  • Option to force visitors to first login on your site before they can comment
  • Test using "developer mode"
  • Import comments from Disqus to display them to search engines
  • Create a cross-domain receiver file
