Meeting Minutes

• Amy: ICC is doing work to understand community desires and needs for Islandora events in the spring and summer (camps, trainings, etc.).
  • More workshop and hands-on stuff (lots of demand for this)
  • Demand for Workbench training
  • Giving real-world examples of what an object in a repository would look like (using migrations from institutions)
    • Better tutorials with these examples for institutions to use to dive deeper into given their university’s requirements
• Amy: ICC & LG working on strategic planning–where do we want to be in 18 months?
• Rosie: Modules on Drupal.org
  • overview of mirroring mechanism

    • Rosie: Stopped working in Github a few weeks ago, no suggestions yet on how to fix
    • Don: Could be user-specific because of multiple users on the container

    • Can’t be done until the mirroring mechanism is fixed

  • Everyone to read over proposal
  • Will require a migration for existing sites–but can be automated
  • Will make using Drupal modules easier and make things make more sense in Islandora
