Why: The current WG and Project Chairs appointment term is due to expire or has expired.
What: Start the Election Process for the WGs and Project Chairs with a term of 2 years.

Motion to increase WG/Project Chairs to 3

  • 20 - 30 Nov - Notification for submissions/Nominations
    • EVote for WGs/Projects with nominations that exceed the criteria
  • 04 Dec Appointments Announced
  • Week starting Dec 11th, the elected Chairs begin their tenure.

  • 04 - 08 Dec - EVote for WGs/Projects with nominations that exceed the criteria
  • 11 Dec - Chairs confirmed and begin their tenure.
  • WG Chair vacancies becoming available
  • Opensource - CLJ and Dan standing down as Chair.
  • Policy - Elise left ThoughtWorks
  • Proposal
  • Increase WG & Project Chairs to 3
  • 2 year term

I'm happy to restand for Community but I think we should revisit the policy that ICs can't be WG chairs because otherwise we will keep losing great folk like Elise

New Working Group Chairs were elected and announced in December 2023.
