Purpose of change

Throwing knives are highly disproportionate to IRL weight and dimension.

for every inch in the length of your thrower, it should have 1 to 1¼ ounces in weight.

For safety reasons, don’t choose any throwing knife smaller than 10 inches in length. Some pro-knife-throwers even use throwers as large as 13 inches.

Using 13 inches as the length, and a weight of 1.25 ounces per inch, we would have a weight of 16.25 ounces (or 460g).

DIY schematics below are 13 inches long, 330x30x4mm which equates to .04L.

Any particular reason you chose the upper end of the range instead of the median?

I was under the notion that having throwing knives with .05L and weighing even less wouldn't pass -hence I settled on the highest end of the spectrum.

And since most throwing knives will be crafted rather than found it makes some sense that we have a throwing knife big enough to do some damage rather than a small target practice one.
We "might" want a small and a large throwing knife rather than a universal one but i think having just one is fine.
