I decided to rebuild my whole Z-Wave network, using a new stick (Zooz 700 series) and a new instance of zwavejs2mqtt. 95% of the nodes I add fail their interviews. I've been looking through the logs and I keep seeing a message before the failures that says "transmit status: Fail". To get any of the nodes to complete I usually have to re-interview them at least once, maybe twice. It takes forever to add the nodes. I'm just trying to see if there is anything I'm doing wrong or that I should be looking at for the reason for these failures and for each node to take so long to get setup. That seems like your stick is unable to send messages most of the time. While it doesn't tell us why that is, usually power-cycling the stick can help. That means shut down, pull the stick, put it back, start again. |
