  • builds/install with the standard procedure:

    autoreconf -i
    ./configure
    make
    make install
    
  • required autoconf version may be lowered (this is just the one I am
    using), needs to be tested, though

  • removes all included boost files, these need not to be redistributed,
    but can / should be provided by the system (boost is pretty portable
    and provided by the distros)

  • includes the appropriate checks, boost libs are missing appropriate
    functions to check

This is also an opportunity to easily fix #3, since configure can pick up the external boost deps easily.
