truvtv, like other turner sites, has decommissioned the cvpXml system and replaced it with new json media urls (ngtv.io). I don't know offhand if youtube-dl has been updated to support the ngtv media urls for any of the other turner sites. If it has, it should be straightforward to add trutv. |
Are you aware of any program that does currently support the new system? I'm expecting to be without phone reception for a few days on a trip, and it'd be nice to have some stuff I haven't seen yet downloaded. No big deal if it's just a waiting game, but doesn't hurt to ask. |
Just wanted to check in here - the problem persists on my end (version 2018.09.18). It looks like TNT / TBS have been updated to use the ngtv media URLs - any chance we could get TruTV updated as well? Not sure if they could be combined into one extractor or not. |
@burkasaurusrex Streamlink downloads TruTV content just fine. |
