I am now in the process of making the arrangements for WWIVcon '99.  The most
likely location is the Elite Western [formerly Best Western] in Arcadia, CA.,
about 17 miles north-east of Los Angeles and a couple of miles east of Pasa-
dena.  The most likely date is August 13-15.  Quoted prices are $45 per room/
night for a single room and $51 per room/night for a double.

Miller Music BBS; the subtype is probably WWIVCON on all of the networks he
carries.]  You can also e-mail me with any specific questions you may have, but
it would be a better idea to post them in that sub.

I expect a decent turnout for this WWIVcon.  In addition to those who regularly
attend every year, there are about ten sysops from the immediate area who are
likely to be there.  At any rate, we are *FINALLY* having a WWIVcon here on the
west coast, and I'd like to make it one to remember. :)  Please join us in the
