  • It is a very good idea to set up a custom Scripts folder path, so that when you update Blender, it will still use the same V-tools and other Add-ons directory. This is especially useful if you checkout V-tools as a git repository. Note: You have to add "Addons" subfolder into the script folder. image

  • Must have, many of our rendering scripts call V-tools functions directly, and to set standard output paths with "Generate compositor nodes", plus all the other tools and functions.

UVPackmaster 3

  • Heavily recommended as it makes working with UDIMs drastically easier, not to mention all the other fancy UV tools it has.
