Sassdown v.1.0.0 does not represent a final release, just a move to semantic versioning. This milestone does however represent a series of changes, in particular:

• dependency decoupling
• better template handling
• better file handling
• more modular structure
• functional test coverage
• switch to node streams
• gulp.js support

The aim is for v.1.0.0 of Sassdown to be task agnostic; able to run and output using grunt, gulp and native node via require().
