Releases: wavemotion-dave/A7800DS
Release 1.7a
Full Pokey Support at both 0x450 and 0x4000. RAM supported at 0x4000 for games that require it (Serpentine works now). Undocumented OP Codes for the Sally processor now implemented so games like Popeye will run fine. Other tweaks and improvements as time permitted.
Version 1.7
Version 1.7 - minor cleanup overall. Improvement to memory read to speed it up (5% boost across the board). Also, finally ditched Kangaroo mode - it can be compiled in but virtually no game uses it and the one I know of that does (BeefDrop) seems to only use it on the title/attract screen. It was sucking up more DS CPU time than it was worth.
Version 1.6b
v1.6b - minor correction to Maria sprite rendering. Corrected URL.
Version 1.6a
V1.6a : 19-Dec-2020 by wavemotion-dave
Fixed bug causing black rectangles on some games - thanks to Wii-7800!
Version 1.6
Rebranded PHOENIX EDITION and with minor cleanups, ready for wider release.
Version 1.5
Version 1.5 with improved scaling X/Y to make more games look great. Minor fixes for more robust High Score saving. Other cleanups as time permitted.
Version 1.4b
Fixed High Score saving. High Score Saving works if you have highscore.rom (exact name and case) in your
roms directory where you load your games... also, you MUST press the HSC button
if you want to snap the Saved Scores out to the flash card. It's not something
I want to do as the game runs... so you must do it... the high scores will also
auto-save if you quit the emulator or select a new game.
Version 1.4
High Score Saving support! Put highscore.rom (exact capitalization) in the same directory as your roms. Other minor cleanups and tweaks included.
Version 1.3
Beef Drop, BonQ, Froggie and Pac Man Collection all playable at near full speed!
Version 1.3a
Baby Pac-Man working! Astro Blaster and Astro Fighter both working! Kung Fu Master working. KC Munchkin now working. Other homebrews should now work by default.
