The latest Debian package postfix (3.1.8-0+deb9u1) makes corrections to the /etc/postfix/master.cf file and adds the missing "retry" service entry:

+retry unix - - y - - error

This "retry" service should probably be a standard entry after "error" ( see master.cf.SLES* )
