BTW, I took out doxygen and graphviz from makedepends since they are only needed to build documentation and we don't (the tarball ships with prebuilt documentation). As for automake, it was only necessary a few releases ago b/c of a patch that has been upstreamed. |

Testing the changes
Works with sagemath. With the current version in repo (10.0_2) it gives a few doctest failures because output format changes. Not worth updating sagemath now IMO, since 10.1 will be coming out soon (if need arises, the relevant PR are sagemath/sage#35977, sagemath/sage#35980, sagemath/sage#36018; also sagemath/sage#36006 fixes a doctest after gmp 6.3.0 but it's not really necessary).
