Hi there!

My name is Victor Gabriel Alcantara and I live in São Paulo - Brazil. I'm a social scientist enthusiastic of methods and Computational Social Sciences. I'm M.A. in Sociology and Anthropology at PPGSA/UFRJ and PhD student in Sociology at University of São Paulo PPGS/USP. I'm studing social and data sciences with some programming languages like R, Python, JavaScript and so on. You can find some of my works on my curriculum.

  • 🔭 I’m currently working on my research about education inequalities in Brazil to understand how and why students construct behaviors and dispositions for or against "student work", thinking about success and failure in basic education.
