isMACAddress does not allow use of - instead it only uses : for example A9-C5-D4-9F-EB-D3 is invalid #1061

When doing validation of MACAddress it does not allow the use of - for separation.
For example, when I pass A9-C5-D4-9F-EB-D3, it will be invalid mac address.
But, when I pass it as A9:C5:D4:9F:EB:D3.
I don't know if there is a reason why we only allow : and not including -?
