OpenWRT 15.05 "Chaos Calmer" patches for Unwired One board
Patches were tested with OpenWRT 15.05 release 49404.
Run cd openwrt && ./scripts/feeds update -a && ./scripts/feeds install -a after downloading OpenWRT sources.
Patches are splitted into separate files to make it easier to create your own configuration. If you are ok with Unwired One's default firmware configuration, it's ok to apply all patches at once.
patch -p0 < unwired.patch — adds Unwired One board to the list of targets, changes some configuration files to reflect One's default settings. Run touch target/linux/*/Makefile after applying it.
patch -p0 < avrdude.patch — adds AVRDude package
patch -p0 < compile-fixes.patch — fixes for various building errors
patch -p0 < gpio-irq-support.patch — GPIO IRQ support by GBert, https://github.com/GBert
patch -p0 < gst1-uvch264.patch — enable H.264 support in GStreamer (and enable gudev in udev package, as it is required by uvch264)
patch -p0 < mjpg-enable.patch — enable mjpg_streamer service by default
patch -p0 < mjpg-nohotplug.patch — disable mjpg_streamer in /etc/hotplug.d/usb/ (not included in stock firmware)
patch -p0 < new_files.patch — avahi-daemon and uboot-envtools configuration files
patch -p0 < new_modules.patch — kernel modules developed by Unwired Devices team
patch -p0 < console.patch — allows to completely disable UART console using bootloader's environment variable
patch -p0 < opkg.patch — add Unwired's OpenWRT repository (http://files.unwds.com/files/openwrt/ccalmer/1.0/packages/) to /etc/opkg.conf
patch -p0 < uhttpd-disable-https-redirect.patch — disable HTTPS redirect in uHTTPD server
patch -p0 < vermagic.patch — set vermagic number with menuconfig instead of automatically generated md5 hash of the kernel config file
.config.base — ready to use OpenWRT Buildroot configuration file to build firmware only (copy it to .config file in OpenWRT directory)
.config.all — ready to use OpenWRT Buildroot configuration file to build firmware and all kernel modules (copy it to .config file in OpenWRT directory)
To apply all patches with a single command, put patches you need in some directory and run for i in $(ls /that/directory/*.patch); do patch -p0 < $i; done
After patching, run make defconfig and then make V=s to build firmware.
